::This is the setting for the drama ``Until the battery runs out.'' The main character, a girl who was hospitalized here, wrote a poem expressing compassion for other children despite suffering from childhood cancer, and four months before her death in the fourth grade of elementary school, she wrote a poem appealing to the world about the importance of life. After his death, his poems spread from Nagano Prefecture to all over the country, and were made into a TV drama in 2004. At the hospital festival held every October, I was able to see the in-hospital classes where the girls spent time before the coronavirus.

::My appointment had to be changed due to the doctor's circumstances. That's fine, but when it was my turn to see the doctor, he said, ``I forgot to take an X-ray, so please take one.'' So, every time my 2 year old (her birthday was the day before) gets scared and cries when she gets an X-ray, but this time she started to get nervous while waiting, so she cried even more because of the X-ray. Normally, I would have ordered the photo lying down and standing, but it seemed like I had only ordered the photo in the standing position, so I couldn't take a photo in the end. I don't know why I went to the hospital. From my parents' point of view, the symptoms had improved, and the doctor said, ``If you're concerned, you can come see me in six months, or either is fine,'' so my visits to the hospital ended today. I did. Please, if the appointment was changed due to the doctor's convenience, please double check that and stop saying things like, "It's my turn to see you, but I forgot to take an X-ray lol."

::He started going to the hospital right after he was born, and now he goes for regular checkups once a year. Today, the parking lot was full and I couldn't park, but a guide showed me where to go. I was looking for it all the time, so I was very grateful. The waiting area for medical inquiries and accounting is in the entrance hall, but they still call in their own voices, so it's very difficult to hear in the hustle and bustle. I'm always careful, but I end up replying by mistake several times. I just want them to improve on that. My child's doctor listens carefully and gives answers, so I have never had any problems. Easy to talk to .

::In 2021, I experienced a stillbirth when I was 6 months pregnant, and I felt very depressed...I thought I was going to have to live a life where I couldn't escape the sadness. The day my obstetrician who was in charge at that time put my child in a coffin and left the hospital, he said to me, ``It was a great birth and I can hold my heart high.'' These words became a source of support for me in my life. Although it was a sad birth, my child and I both had an irreplaceable time together and now feel that we have worked hard. Thankfully, we were given a new lease of life this year, and from the beginning until delivery, we had a children's hospital to check up on our progress, and our previous doctor took care of our healthy baby. I'm really thankful to you. I will never forget this kindness for the rest of my life. Doctors who are always at the hospital, please take care of yourself. I can't thank you enough. We look forward to supporting you in your future endeavors.

::Until the year before the nationwide coronavirus outbreak, hospital festivals were held in the fall, and I had the impression that they were crowded with families. Since the coronavirus outbreak, we have taken thorough infection control measures, and it seems unlikely that the infection will spread among the hospitalized children, so I feel safe allowing them to visit the hospital.
