The cafe is located on the first floor of OPA near Akita Station. Seating is limited, but there are power outlets and wifi provided for your comfort. Weekday lunch is from 11:00 to 15:00 and is mainly pasta. I ordered a homemade ginger ale. The introduction said it was a special syrup made by boiling down honey and ginger, but I was disappointed that it didn't have much honey flavor. I wanted to try their competition coffee, which is only available in front of Akita Station, but it was too hot outside and I was not in the mood for coffee, so I will try it next time. Their atmosphere is quiet and good for a break.

A great place for coffee and breakfast. Nagahama is very serious about their coffee, serving and selling competition-grade beans. Breakfast fare includes delicious, healthy choices for a very reasonable price. They have a fairly early 8 AM start time which is great for us early.

Tried the breakfast sandwich set and top-up abit more for their drip coffee. The coffee was fragrant. The sandwich was delicious too. Staff was also very friendly with trying to speak in English.

Nice coffee and great atmosphere next to the station. I enjoyed the coffee. The iced coffee was nice. The pasta lunch menu could be tastier but remember that this is a cafe and not an Italian place.

It's a rather regular café with great atmosphere and good offerings I went visited this place while a friend of mine came to Akita to take a break from his busy Tokyo-life. He seemed to enjoy his time, and so did I It's a good alternative to Starbucks, which alone should be good enough reason to pay them a visit. It's a café, so it's not too expensive for you to give them a try I recommend it
