  I read online that this was one of the best places to have robatayaki. However, similar to some other reviewers, we were denied entry into this restaurant by the unfriendly man at the door because we didn't speak Japanese. Such a disappointment as we were looking forward to a good last meal in Tokyo only to encounter such a situation. We have read that some non-Japanese have managed to make it into the restaurant though. So I guess you can try your luck. But we didn't want to patronize a place that didn't even bother trying to make an effort to accommodate us.

  Older guy at shop front a bit unfriendly, saying "no English" when I imply I dunno Japanese. The younger chap came and pass me their English menu. I came in b4 5pm and I was their 2nd customer so not crowded. Their grill food were nice, their grilled beef tongue was delicious, highly recommended..scallops too!!! I had beef tongue, 2 sticks mushrooms, 1 stick eggplant, 2 sticks Chix, and 2 scallops n 1 beer total 2410yen

  Awesome local Robatayaki. Full of locals, no tourists when we were there (except us). Food was delicious, atmosphere authentic. Good cold beer. Just be warned bathroom is not up to Japanese standards (hole in ground).
