::Standard small Japanese hotel, but dirty and careless with cleaning as the previous customers beverage was still sitting in the fridge and there were either mold or dust in the fridge as well. Aside from that, it's close to the train station and free bike rentals. Can't complain for $30/ night

::Budget hotel, VERY outdated. Not very clean. Carpets gross, mold on shower curtains/caulking,stains on pillow and cigarette smoke smell from hallways. Not even the small breakfast can redeem this hotel. Most likely will have to file for bankruptcy soon. Worst hotel of Japan so far in the $30-$50 range.

::It's close to the Morioka station. The breakfast in Japan hotel is very simple and not buffet. The breakfast starts from 7.30 to 9.00 at the second floor. The wifi connection, badly, were not really strong. The room only provides 1 main lamp which weirdly not in ceiling, but at the wall. There's another lamp at the ceiling but it's broken. The bathroom is quite small with a little bit old shower. But the bed was separated and they provided 2 head pillow for 1 person. This is a very good choice for sleep. The service from the staff at breakfast is very welcoming here.

::Rooms are nicer than the exterior of the hotel suggests. Very close to the station, clean and comfortable room (though Japan sized) and easy check-in process. Breakfast basic (croissants, roll of some kind, soup, yoghurt, juice) but fresh. Good for a budget stay.

::I stayed here when taking my students to the prefectural speech contest. It was very satisfactorily adequate. By that I mean, the accommodations didn't bring anything particularly mind blowing, but that's not what I was really looking for. I was looking for a clean, quiet place to rest before taking my students to the speech contest, and that's what I got. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, and gave my students and I use of their cafe after hours to give us a space to practice. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was, again, nothing overly special, but not bad either.
