When I immediately tried to re-open an account with another online bank, I was informed that I could not open one with our bank because I already had a NISA account. So, I went to Mizuho again and told him that I had received this notice from another bank even though I thought I had canceled my contract, and he replied, ``We have definitely canceled our contract.'' I recently learned that there is a rule that if you cancel a NISA account after actually operating it within the tax-free limit, you cannot reopen it within the same year... Mizuho did not provide any such explanation. I don't think it was intentional, but I think he probably didn't really know that much. When I opened the site, the explanations were not very clear, so I wish there was an asset management professional there.
