  I passed through Miyoshi-cho while cycling to the Sayama tea plantation and discovered it! It's a shame that there is only a vending machine for frozen Nihachi soba now. I bought a box to try it out. Two meals with soba soup are 700 yen. At the supermarket, Onyx's Nihachi Soba costs about 400 yen with 3 servings of soba soup, so it's about twice the price. However, when I look at the ingredients, it seems like they don't use any additives or chemical seasonings, so I feel safe. I thought it would be nice to have 100 percent soba noodles. When I got home, cooked it, and ate it, it was delicious. When I stopped by in July 2023, 100 percent soba, ice packs, and curry had been added to the vending machine menu. I purchased the 2023 100 percent soba from Miyoshi for 2 meals, including soba soup, for 1,000 yen to try. The soba felt a little greenish. The soba noodles were slightly sweet and delicious.

  2022.08.06 I finally found a vending machine😅 If you go from the east side, there are two poles restricting vehicle width, so if you're going by car, it's easier to enter from the west side.

  Although it was the largest soba producer in the prefecture, it seems that it will close on December 31, 2017 due to redevelopment. Juwari soba is delicious and is a specialty of Miyoshi Town, and it is also a tourist destination.It is a wonderful place where you can try making soba noodles and see the white buckwheat flowers. It's a shame because I had decided to have Toshikoshi soba here every year.
