  What an amazing view of the river and castle. My room is bigger than a traditional Japanese hotel. Service is excellent and food is also good.

  We stayed only for one night in Miyako hotel at Gifu but we would definitely come back for a longer stay. Our room was spacious and clean with so many amenities. The morning view of the river and mountain was so calming. The staff was courteous and helpful. There was even free bike rental to go around the city that we didnt know about. Breakfast buffet was good too.

  There is a nice location with a river side for this hotel and you may view the sunrise in the morning.. this is the relaxing place and this is country side

  Great service and helpful staff. I only noticed my car had a flat tyre after parking in the hotel at 11pm, and was worrying how to communicate with the car rental company cos I don’t speak Japanese. I would like to give a big THANK YOU to the hotel staff who speaks fluent English and helped me makes phone call to car rental company hotline inquiring about flat tyre assistance when we arrived late on 23 Dec ... really appreciated the kind assistance of the hotel staff who helped me very late at night, and followed up with the car rental company on my behalf. I have been so lucky to have chosen Miyako. Many thanks!

  Very good hotel. Room is very spacious (especially on Japan's standard) and comfortable. Breakfast also good. You can also walk around the surrounding hotel in the morning for fresh air and sights. Service is also very good. Overall recommended hotel to stay in the Gifu area.
