::Average Mitsui Garden Hotel experience. Despite recent "renovations," the hotel still feels somewhat dated. On the plus side, the bedding is good and the location is excellent. The main advantage is that you can often find good deals for this hotel. While it's not exceptional, it can be a decent choice if you're looking for a bargain in a good location. However, if you're expecting a truly updated or luxurious experience, you might want to look elsewhere. Overall, it's a serviceable option if the price is right, but don't set your expectations too high.

::- The rooms stink and felt very humid. I requested for a room change but the new room was only slightly better. - The WiFi was really slow and unstable. I had to reconnect so many times. - The bed sheets and towels were clearly not clean. There were black spots over one of my towels. - The breakfast was so bad I’d rather just not have anything. - The automatic check machines at the lobby were useless and what’s the point of having them if you still need the staff to help you with using them. - The location wasn’t as terrible as everything else but overall it’s totally not worth it.

::We got a moderate twin room on the 14th floor. The room wasn’t very spacious but had everything we needed and had a great view. The staff were friendly and willing to help. Great access to metro, especially to Ginza line. Convenience store was just near by. Great quality for price. I’d come back.

::Great place to stay in Tokyo. Ueno station is just across the road. The room is clean and staff is very helpful. The breakfast at the Italian restaurant is great. It is near a lot of restaurants and shopping areas.

::Good location. Not far from tourist attraction such as Ameyoko market and near Ueno Station, Keisei Skyliner Station, Ueno Park and Ueno Zoo. Room price is high during peak season. Recommend booking a few month ahead. Room is larger than average but still small for two guests. Bed is pretty comfortable. Toilet is not too small and there is a bath tub. Housekeeper comes to do the room daily. There is an air purifier in the room which is great. However I experience some skin itchiness when lying on the bed. People with sensitive skin might need to be mindful about this. The room doesn't seem to get much sunlight. Dustmites might love living in there. The hotel is about 40 minutes ride on skyliner train from Narita Airport.
