  we went there at 6.30am and there was a queue already. waited for about 20 minutes. The sushi rice bowl were very fresh and delicious. we were given complimentary miso soup which were very tasty. Staff were very friendly.

  This place is a gem! We originally came for the morning market nearby but were too late and stumbled upon this place. The seafood is so so fresh, excellent variety and great portion size. Also super affordable. This place gets busy at lunchtime and the queue can get long quickly. Best to come here a little earlier if possible as the restaurant is not super big. We didn’t have a car when we stayed in Hachinohe and getting here by public transport can be a bit difficult due to the infrequent services. If we had a car, we would have come here everyday for lunch!

  Although the place had already been fully booked at a weekend noon, the store accepted walk-ins as standbys for no-show customers. Managed to have a seat in 10 minutes, lucky! The marinated flounder rice bowl was indeed delicious and inexpensive. It was a mild-flavored umami.

  Fresh, fresh and .. no fancy presentation .. raw fish rice bowl and the rice serving is just too much. Mis soup is great and the lady is making it in front of us. Again, they are very patience explaining and confirming our order although we are not Japanese native.

  Be prepared to wait / come very early probably around 4:30am to get first round seating. We arrived at 6:30 and got 8-9am seating. It’s a small restaurant serving fresh local sashimi donburi only. Very generous portion sizes. Soups were delicious as were the rice cakes. 3.5*
