::Our family, including one child, recently stayed at the Mercure Toyama Tonami Resort and Spa and had an overall pleasant experience. The services and amenities are commendable, and the food is absolutely delicious. We were particularly impressed with the generous lounge service in the afternoon and evening, which added a special touch to our stay. The public bath was another highlight—spacious and incredibly relaxing. It provided a perfect escape after a long day of activities. However, we found the rooms to be quite outdated. The decor feels old-fashioned and there was an unpleasant smell reminiscent of old storage. This is an area that needs significant improvement. The beds and pillows were also not up to the standard we have come to expect from other Mercure hotels. In conclusion, the Mercure Toyama Tonami Resort and Spa is almost perfect. We highly recommend updating and renovating the rooms to ensure a more comfortable and modern experience for guests.

::The rooms were dated but very clean and comfortable. This property was previously a daiwa hotel turned accor in April 2024. The breakfast was excellent and the parking was plentiful. The hotel was quiet on the weekday and it was mostly tourists. The hot spring had an indoor and outdoor pool and the hotel offered free dreams and snacks at night. Very generous. Other than the very quiet location, my family and myself were all happy as it didn't bother us since we drove.

::If you are looking to enjoy the luxurious hotel experience, this is your place. It has almost everything you could need. It was a great place with an amazing staff. The one downside is that the nearest convenience store is two kilometers away, down a dark country road.

::Its ok, breakfast was great! However the rooms are outdated and smell old, the bathplace is big and relaxing but I stayed in cheaper hotels that looked better including the bath area.
