  A good experience overall. Food is reasonably good and for those who enjoy drinking, this is the place to be, at the free-flow drink bar. However the only thing is that the outdoor hotspring is a little dirty with dead insects and dried leaves.

  Good service and location, however unworthy of being called a Mercure now. It was basically a rebranding (it was not part of the Accor group before 2024). They changed the name of the resort, put some signs inside, but that is all. The bedrooms weren't renovated, and God knows they need a good one! I didn't try the breakfast as the price is ridiculously expensive. Good point : the onsen area.

  Very old & tired hotel. Location is good though. Very easy access to goshikinuma ponds walking trail. Cannot believe how dusty the room carpet is. Toilet seat is a make-shift one. Lobby smelled of discarded leftover food when we were there. In fact, right at the entrance of the lobby was a big pile of what appeared to be bento sets, and we were not even sure those were meant for consumption or to be thrown away! Mercure REALLY needs to quickly do something about the maintenence of the hotel! It is not cheap considering the standard.And one more note to the hotel management, please do not provide your standard template reply to your guests' reviews. It does not help to alleviate the negative views already formed, and we will not be able to spread positive recommendations to our friends on your behalf!

  Firstly i am shocked that this is Mercure standard. The rooms are extremely old and the fabrics on tbe sifa are stained and dirty. The furnitureneedto be thrown away. The toilet seat are makeshift cover tbat fit for a young kid .The worse partis tbe aircon is centrally controlled and is extremely hot woth no ventilations . the only positive is that tbe breakfast is quite good .

  This hotel is very old. The beds feel like it's going to break into 2. Sofas was old and stains on the carpet. Aside from this the service given by the staff was extremely good. It has laundry facilities which is good for tourists. Buffet dinner and breakfast has a good spread. There's some games in the hotel and the view from the lakes was good. Hotel definitely in need to refurbish.
