  Today's lunch is MERB, which is attached to the roadside station in Toma Town. It's a curry and coffee shop, but for the citizens of Asahikawa, and more specifically for the graduates of a high school in Asahikawa that was the alma mater of the gold medalist at the recent Paris Olympics, it's a taste of memories that they can no longer eat because it's closed now. This is a restaurant where you can eat curry from Komone-tei. When I was a student, I would often eat countless cups of economy curry (so-called student curry), commonly known as "eco-dai," at "Yonematei" in front of the school. Now, this ``MERB'' is a restaurant opened by a person who worked in the kitchen of ``Yonamitei.'' There are various curry menus, but for us graduates, the flavor we are looking for is not the authentic beef curry, but the economy curry from Kome-tei! ️Here at "MERB", we heard that GM curry (Grand Mother Curry) corresponds to that, so we ordered it without hesitation😄 After waiting a few minutes, I tried the GM curry, and it was unmistakably that "eco" flavor! ️The spicy yet sweet curry will take you back in time decades ago (lol)😄I was so impressed that I finished eating it all at once and bought a take-out roux to go home😂 Well, it was delicious! ️

  I visited you while I was at the stamp rally. From the outside, I thought it was a regular coffee shop curry, but it had just the right amount of spice and was delicious. However, the volume is low and the price is high. I also thought it would be a waste to point it out and have it replaced, so I ate it as is.I ordered pork curry, but what came out was chicken curry.

  This is a shop run by one of my senior classmates in Asahikawa. He was originally a chef at the now-closed Komone-tei, and after it closed, he opened a shop at the roadside station in Touma, where you can now enjoy Komone-tei's spicy curry. I ordered a small shrimp curry on my first visit in a while. The taste of this spice is addictive. Delicious😊 You can also take out the roux, so you can enjoy MERB's curry at home. For those who don't like spicy food, we recommend GM (Grand Mother) curry as it is not too spicy. I was happy to eat Marv's curry for the first time in a while. Thank you for the meal😊

  I ordered pork curry. At first I thought it was sweet, but gradually I started to feel the depth of spice and flavor and it was so delicious! You can choose from a large serving of roux only, rice only, or both, so I thought it would be good for people who are always picky. I had a strong preference for coffee, but since I had made a huge serving of curry, I couldn't get any more, so I gave up.💦 The owner is also kind and I recommend this restaurant as it is a relaxing place!

I was stopping by, but the timing was right. I couldn't go because it was bad... This time too, it was quickly past the noon time. But it was open so I had a long-awaited visit. I was able to eat curry~(^^)/ Master is a very good person It was easy to talk to me and I had a good impression☆ It was curry, but it was really delicious. My favorite dark roux spice It's effective, but the spiciness is a bit low It has a really special taste♪ Ah, I made cutlet curry. The cutlet is also soft and crispy. It was fried and easy to eat ♬ It really tasted like I had imagined it. Finally, iced coffee I got it ~ Discount after the meal ^^ It was very delicious! I want to go again! nice to meet you!
