::A old, very aged, dated and in some instance a little run-down Grand Hotel. Some very visible poor upkeep of the hotel but can also be due to the aging interior and not because of never maintaining it. The hotel definitely look like in the 80s/90s with dimmer lights and looks like it required a major revamp to keep it up the modern times. Plus, walking along the corridor and reception of the hotel do smell of musky air. The location is unbeatable and right on top of Nagoya Main train station. Very convenient with eateries, departmental store, shops, supermarket right below the hotel. But the entire building is dated, and with just a short walk nearby is more modern, brighter and more cheerful looking malls. For the rooms, not tiny and decently sized good for at least up to 2 person to stay. The furnishing is decent and can see visible wear and tear due to old age. Fortunately the bed is fairly comfortable and clean which is one of 2 plus point. The bath is clean and in decent working condition which is barely a plus point. The biggest plus point is the valued price point. The room barely good for its sound proofing so if there is any noisy neighbor... sleep quality will bound to be affected. View is city view which is not bad. But nothing is shout about. If there is anyone looking for better security. There is almost non-existence for this hotel. The lift can go to any floor including the room floors, bypassing the hotel reception. No card security for the lift. Room is by very old card access, unsure how secure is these old system. Around the area, this hotel is definitely one of the most value for money accommodation based on it decent size room, comfortable and big plus for its location.

::The hotel located in a very convenient location. It located in the Mettitsu “Men’s” Department Store, the front desk is at 11F. It has an exclusive elevator for the hotel guest. The room is clean even the environment seems a little old age. But it is really worthy to stay there, you can get free bottles of water when the cleaning staff clean the room.

::Very good location, just on top of the Nagoya main train station and the underground mall. Rooms are very dated - 1990s style and mine had damaged carpet unrepaired. Isolation wasn't so good so I could hear noisy neighbours Security was a little shocking to me. The hotel lifts were located in a public lobby at the train mall and you can enter and go direct to guest levels without any keycard access restrictions. Unheard of in modern (post 9-11 era) and I have never seen in modern hotels. Having said that, I locked my door carefully and no incident. Had really good sleep on the bed too. lastly the price is really good value

::Nice quaint hotel. Rooms are a bit outdated. The window sill is quite dirty. Beds are on the hard side. Other than that the hotel is in a great location next to the JR Nagoya station and the Meitestu Railway.

::Located right next to and above Nagoya station with very easy access to JR lines, bus terminals, other train lines and the subway. Also surrounded by heaps of shops and restaurants. Service was excellent throughout and rooms are fairly large by Japanese standards. Interior is a little bit dated but everything is clean and works. Room also had a nice view of the city.
