::I've been going there since before Matsuya and Matsunoya were opened. Things have changed a lot since the renovations (^^) Ordering is still done at the ticket vending machine, but now you have to call your number and pick it up yourself. Also, the water is self-service, and you have to wipe the table yourself. As a result, there are cases where the seats are dirty even before you sit down. Balance can be achieved by increasing efficiency by reducing the number of seats and increasing the number of self-service seats to compensate for the low turnover rate. I think it's very good. Another good thing is that the tables are located near the entrance. The previous one was near the restrooms and couldn't be seen from the entrance, so I had to check every time to see if anyone was sitting there. However, there's one thing that hasn't changed: maybe the ventilation isn't working properly? I think so. There are flies flying around every second time and it is very uncomfortable to eat with them. When I heard that it was being renovated, I thought it was an improvement, but it seems like it's continuing.

::Early August 2024 Visited because I wanted to eat eel. I received a double eel bowl. If you double it, the satisfaction level will be different. Good. The finish is better than last year. Although it is not as fluffy as Yoshinoya, You can enjoy the quality of the eel's meat accordingly. It feels more chewy. (It's not hard or squishy) You can truly enjoy the taste of eel. For this price and this taste, I have no complaints. The sauce is less salty than Yoshinoya and has a smoother viscosity. Personally, I preferred Matsuya. If you haven't tried it yet, please give it a try.

::I ate beef bowl for the first time in a while. I haven't been to Matsuya that often, so I might be comparing it to Yoshinoya Kasukiya, but I feel like it used to be even better. The meat and onions tasted sweet, and the soup-soaked rice was not tasty. Was it like this, did your tongue get fat?
