  On August 22nd, I had business at the adjacent Iwagin ATM and came to the store to withdraw some money. I don't like supermarkets that open at 9:30. Moreover, even though there were less than 10 people waiting for the store to open, the automatic door opened at 9:32. The lady in charge of the self-checkout is slowly getting ready and is quite beautiful.

  Since the store was renovated, the selection of products in the fresh fish corner has deteriorated. Frozen and sashimi now account for 70%. Are the cashiers just like machines and the customers look like humans? Customers are not ATMs. Once upon a time, there was a commercial set in a convenience store where the customers in front of the line were told not to rush and wait even if it took a while, but in most supermarkets it's the store staff who are in a hurry. I find it a little strange that convenience store clerks are much kinder. From my experience, convenience stores are much busier, right? Just when I thought I finally had an all-self-checkout system, half of the stores were cashless only, and the other half accepted cash... I wish I could choose it on the screen. Since there are only two machines each, the flow of customers is sometimes slow. It would be too much of a hassle for the clerk to ask each customer if they want cash or cashless payment.

  I went to the Maiya store closest to my house because it was under renovation. There were cases where people forgot to take out pops for sold-out items, and the dry ice ran out... I felt disappointed because the selection was not bad. It's a bit of a shame since it was the first Maiya store to enter Morioka from the coast...I gave it a poor rating because I wanted it to do well as a long-established store in an area with many supermarkets.

I like sashimi myself, so I think I have a general idea of ​​the supermarkets in Morioka City, but I think this is the only place in Morioka City where you can buy sashimi at a reasonable price (there are also stores in Senboku and Takizawa). It's also great that they constantly stock bonito sashimi, which retailers have been reluctant to carry in recent years, during the season. I've been going to this store for many years now, but perhaps because I often go there late after work (=discount time), I get glared at by the veterans who have been there for a long time, as if to say, ``It's you again?'' Is it just my imagination that makes me feel this way? .
