::I saw Tonkatsu KYK in the restaurant area in the basement of the Kintetsu Department Store in Sakai Higashi, so I went there! At this restaurant, you can change from white rice to 16-grain rice for an additional 50 yen! We had free refills of white rice, cabbage, and miso soup, but I was too full to eat them lol💦 This time, I ordered the hand-rolled plum shiso tonkatsu (?)! I love plum shiso, so I was wondering about the limited-time conger eel and sea bream set, but ended up choosing plum shiso ♡ It was so delicious! I changed to 16-grain rice and it cost 1,600 yen including tax! All the staff were very friendly and I was able to enjoy my meal in peace! There are many people using it alone, so it seems like they can enter without hesitation ^_^ On this day, I went at a strange time, just after 3pm, but there were a few customers here and there!

::After all, the pork cutlet is from KYK. I ordered the large fried shrimp and roasted pork cutlet set, and it was delicious and did not disappoint. My husband and I ate there and we both smiled at how delicious it was. It's a matter of personal preference, but the tonkatsu sauce was a bit bland and I wanted a thicker sauce.

::Crispy, delicious. I can't say enough good things, and it's inexpensive, too. Super thin sliced cabbage with sesame seed dressing is the best, and you can have as much of it, rice, and miso shiru as you like.

::It feels safe and stable. I really want to try KYK's tender loin pork cutlet. Today's set is fried oysters, in keeping with the season. Tartar sauce is also substantial.
