::Restaurant designed by Kengo Kuma its unique stacked timber construction technique looks beautiful There are wide lawns around it to broaden the view. But the building is on the side of the road and the area around the staff entrance is a bit messy. I can’t imagine that this is part of a beautiful building.

::An "art" restaurant designed by Kengo Kuma (it's also listed in tourist guides and art books...maybe it's because some of the seats are difficult to use...?) Lunch options range from something simple to something a little more luxurious. You don't have to make a reservation if it's empty, but it gets very crowded when many instructors come to Geiso, so it might be safer to make a reservation...

::Hey see my pic! Terrible coffee with dirty cup. Do not be recommended for foreigner.

::Food: Delicious. Staff: Polite, helpfull and immensely patient with an English speaking patron struggling with the language. And the music and architecture complement each other for a magical experience.

::Really quite delicious. I look forward to returning. Not a fan of drink minimums which can be coffee, tea, juice or in my case green apple 🍏 Italian soda. I have to admit it was extremely satisfying as drinks go. Tell them to go easy on the ice. Also the pizza though delicious was definitely on the small side.
