This coffee place could not find a better name ! Great atmosphere, coffee, and friendly staff. This is a unique coffee place where you order at the entrance on the first floor, and when you can go to the second floor that is a wonderful space filled with Kokeshi dolls. You can also find a lot of books about different art topics It is a non smoking place 🥰 Cash or PayPay / Rakuten

Really small but quaint cafe at Chitose Funabashi station. Selection on menu is not big but their cheese cake was really good. It is very quiet so if you are looking for somewhere to chitchat a lot, this may not be the place.

I enjoyed this café so so much, it was a beautiful elegant old school style Japanese house converted into a little lovely space for us to enjoy. I really love the old traditional dolls that were neatly placed all over the place, and there are books there to educate yourself too. The owners are more than happy to teach you about the legacy of the dolls and it inspired me to travel up north to learn more. The music was great and the ambience was beautiful, lots of natural light. Obviously the coffee and cake that I ordered matched perfectly with the atmosphere, it was just what I needed. I can’t wait to come back.

I love the retro Showa feel about this laid back coffee shop. The owner is a great host and she makes a great cup of coffee. Smokers are accomodated on the first floor while non-smokers can relax on the second floor. Good munchies and sweets. The upper area is a tribute to when the "kissa(喫茶店)"was the place to socialize. A must stop in location when in Chitofuna.
