I used it for a night course on my birthday. The full-course meal, served in the warmth of an old folk house in the dim light, was full of dishes that took a long time to make, and the presentation was delicate and artistic. birthday plate with dessert thank you very much.

A nice Italian/Japanese restaurant in onsen area. The building of this restaurant is gorgeous, a centuries old common house in the countryside. You can explore the building if you like. The restaurant section is nicely restored and very well heated in the winter. Food was very good, we had a course of 7 dishes, they accommodated my non meat request. Service is very good. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is that their wine list is very dismal. They show case the wines from Nishekan area (where the restaurant is in) and I understand the wines are their pride and joy. But Nishioka wines are not my favorite at all. And I avoid them when possible. I wish they have more normal wines on their menu. FYI their pairing is consist of wine and sake. Next time, I will bring my own bottle and pay for a corsage fee. I hope they allow that.

Excellent service sur mesure! All the staff were really nice. We are two vegans and we asked if it was possible to get something to eat. They asked the chef and made it possible. It was excellent. Thanks for that we really appreciate. The waiter spoked a good English and took time to explain us all the menu, each service. Good local food. We recommend this restaurant with pleasure.

I walked into this restaurant randomly. To my surprise it is a very good Italian Japanese cuisine. Really amazed by the quality of the ingredients, the skill of the chefs and the attentiveness of the servers. They don't speak English much but they still tried their best to introduce each dishes.
