  We dined at Glass Court this morning for our breakfast and was seated against the wall in one of the booth seats near the buffet line for Japanese dishes. Another family was seated next to us with 3 young children. At the end of their meal (around 10:30am) and with the restaurant more than half empty because it closes at 10am, the three kids started running around the tables nearby. I was seated next to them browsing my phone n my younger son was seated next to me. Suddenly a waiter walked towards me and in a loud exasperated tone, said in broken English “We have guests eating breakfast. The children cannot run around. Is ok?!?!” Then he stomped off before I could even say that these weren’t my kids running around. While I empathize with the service staff n try my best to keep my own boys in check in public places, I do not appreciate being yelled at by a service personnel. Furthermore, these were not even my kids. When I approached the restaurant manager to complain, the offensive waiter came forward to apologize while his manager stood smiling nonchalantly behind him. As someone who works in the retail industry, I do not think the manager’s behavior is appropriate as well. He clearly understood English as he was seating all the guests with a quick overview of the buffet options, and answering any questions they had. We stayed in 6 ryokans and this hotel in our 10-day trip. This hotel is by far the worst experience in terms of service. I will never stay here again or recommend this place to friends. It is at least an 8 min walk to the nearest station according to google maps so it’s not even that convenient.

  Good hotel, you will be able to see city view from within the glass windows from a top floor

  Great location. The bus was very convenient also got to see the 2020 paraolympic stadium right outside our window
