  This is a retro inn from the Showa era. All rooms have an open-air bath with natural hot spring water, and the rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff was friendly and the food was plentiful and delicious. Instead of tea sweets, there is a sweets corner, and you can enjoy all-you-can-eat cup ramen. I'll be staying the night again.

  Great onsen and dining experience with excellent customer service. Staff made the effort to communicate with us even though we can speak Japanese well.

  This ryokan/hotel has won my heart! Love it so much, we have been back twice in a year (winter and spring 2023) and will return again if visiting Japan. It is a unique place where you can relax in privacy, or mingle with others if you choose. Just so interesting, relaxing and fun! It is walking distance to great cafes and restaurants, and the railway station and town centre. And a good walk is to Zenibuchi park. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable, with your own private onsen at the back. Little bottles of fresh milk at your door each morning, free coffee and tea machine, rooms with entertainments, so much to enjoy at this quirky, and yet elegant ryokan. The staff are amazing!!, quiet but friendly and available if you need anything, and just such lovely people. I would never stay anywhere but here if in this area. It is just that good!!
