::This small and quaint coffeeshop serves up gourmet coffee at surprisingly affordable prices. What sets Kato apart is the attention to detail - each cup comes with a note explaining the origin and characteristics of the beans used, adding an extra layer of appreciation to the experience. The coffee itself is expertly brewed, with a clear passion for quality and flavor. The cozy atmosphere makes for a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a cuppa.

::The best coffee I’ve had in Japan! My friends and I purchased a lot of their beans - hope we will manage to recreate this amazing experience we had in Nagoya

::We were seated at the bar overlooking the work station where the staff were busy preparing orders. My hand pour was decent, and my friend said his dessert was good as well. I liked how worn in the bar looked but the rest of the deco was a bit lackluster to me.

::The shop opens at 8 AM, and we arrived at 7:40 AM, just in time to get in for the second round. We ordered their signature Ogura red bean toast and Kinshachi coffee sweet soup. The brunch was very affordable. It's said to be a favorite spot of Haruki Murakami, which explains why it's so popular and always has a line.

::It speak volumes about reputation when customers start queueing at 0 degrees , even 30 minutes BEFORE the restaurant opens. One look at the menu does tell a long story. The two staff do a very fine job balancing all the tasks and make it look simple. This is probably the first restaurant where the wall estate is not enough to hold all their certificates ! 😂
