::If you are coming all the way up to Kanazawa, you may as well go so far as to stop here for lunch/ dinner. Definitely worth the drive to get the chance to eat here. Food was some of the best I’ve had so far on my travels through Japan. The sashimi is as fresh as it gets and the tempura is dynamite. The staff doesn’t get a lot of English speakers, but they are definitely an English friendly establishment so do not be discouraged if they’re a little quiet to you. They work swiftly and presentation was gorgeous. Really hope i get the chance to come back!

::We decided to drive to this place for lunch after reading the reviews and we were sorely disappointed. The set lunch was underwhelming and the fish slices were smaller than the sushi rice. The restaurant is nice though.

::Kanazawa best seafood sushi during our visit in early May. They are really fresh. Staffs are friendly and it’s worth every effort to pay them a visit while you visit Kanazawa. Highly recommend.

::Beautiful setting with high quality food. The sushi pieces were outstanding in taste and texture. Koubako crab was available and delicious. Not central but worth the hike out to the location. Soy ice cream was a surprisingly good experience to end the meal.

::Hosho Sushi has a fantastic atmosphere and entrance. The lunch sushi set was fresh using rarer varieties of white fish. However with the shokunin making sushi while watching tv and the location being slightly outside of Kanazawa makes me question if the trip is worth it.
