::In serene tranquility, I savored my Kanazawa Oden set meal. Seated at a cafe table overlooking a charming garden, soft music filled the air, a stark contrast to the bustling Omicho market where I had a similar oden lunch. Here, relaxation reigned, allowing me to fully appreciate the meal.

::Beautiful ceramics made in Kanazawa and absolutely recommended for people interested in traditional arts/crafts. Sadly couldn't take any pictures in the store as it's not allowed but many beautiful pieces on display, and more affordable pieces for sale as well

::My Favorite Kutani Shop in Kanazawa! Our family go back to Kanazawa every summer and I cannot resist shopping at Kaburaki. You walk though a lovely Japanese gate into their shop, take your shoes off at the entrance and step up to Tatami mat show room. They have a wide range of Kutani collections, super expensive to super reasonable. I have brought medium sized bowls, soupspoons, and soy sauce dishes in the past several years. My bowl was around $10 a piece. If you tell them you are bringing items to abroad, they can do extra wrapping for better protection. I always bring items as carry-on, never had a problem. The staff is always friendly and helpful. This year we checked out their historical items tucked in the back of the shop and we were amazed with the quality and technique. They have a small café facing a small garden. They serve drinks, ice cream, lunch and dinner. They just opened another shop nearby, I have to check it out next summer. Open 9AM-10PM weekdays, 9AM-6PM Sundays & Holidays.
