::I haven't had a good experience here, yet. If possible, you're better off going to the Okadama Post Office next to the little airport. One time, I asked if they had any special envelopes for express service for some documents I was sending to another city in Japan. They didn't confirm where it was going, but I guess because I'm a foreigner they assumed it was International. They mistakenly gave me an EMS pack, and then after I filled out the information, we had to cut it up to paste it on a normal envelope. At the other post-office, I usually only need to fill out the EMS form. Here, they make me fill out 3 different customs forms. It takes forever, and other post offices don't need this. Today, I wanted to send a package to Canada. They wanted to OPEN my package to make sure I wasn't lying onthe customs forms. This has never happened to me before in Sapporo, or anywhere else in the world. I let the clerk open my package, but in retrospect, I shouldn't have. I was extremely disappointed.
