  I often use the Kokumachi Post Office on Gekijo-dori. I come here even though it's far from home because there is little traffic, a large parking lot, and easy parking. Another reason is that I miss the town where I was born and raised... When I was a child, there were liquor stores, kimono stores, stationery stores, bicycle stores, greengrocers, and ramen shops. It was a lively town during the Chigo procession and festivals, when the portable shrines were so full of life that they almost crashed into bicycle shops. Now it's a residential area and it's a bit lonely.

  We are indebted to Japan Post Life Insurance, postal savings, etc. There are two people, the director and the staff, but they are very friendly and helpful, which gives me a good impression.
