::I am indebted to you for your orthodontic treatment. Every time I enter the treatment room, my chair is immediately pulled over, I am simply asked to open my mouth, and the treatment begins immediately without any explanation of what I will be doing today. Even if there is pain, there is nothing to worry about. You can move forward with no expression on your face. It may be the hospital's policy to not be friendly or provide explanations. However, I think most people have a scary image of dentists. I think sufficient explanation and encouragement are necessary. Living in Kumamoto, I feel like this is the only hospital I have, so I reluctantly go there, but to be honest, I don't think it's very good. Reservations cannot be made on Saturdays and Sundays, and the hospital doesn't provide explanations about anything, so it often costs a lot of money on the day of treatment. It's terrifying in many ways.

::I went to the hospital to have my wisdom teeth extracted due to a referral. I made an appointment and went, but I didn't have to wait as much as the reviews say (although there are a lot of patients) and things went pretty smoothly. When the tooth was extracted, the doctor and staff asked, ``Are you okay?'' ”, and I was able to complete the tooth extraction with peace of mind. Overall, the staff were very nice and I thought they were well-trained.

::I came to the hospital knowing that my face would be swollen enough to change the contours of my face and that it would help me on holidays. When I called, they asked me about my symptoms in detail, and I was told that the hospital might only be able to provide temporary assistance because it was a public holiday, but they checked the painful area by palpation, took X-rays, and thoroughly examined my gums. I cut it, drained the pus, and the swelling subsided within the same day. I think they can provide better treatment than a regular dentist. However, it took me about 2 hours from the time I arrived to the time I left (there were about 5 patients in front of me), so I think it's better to come to the hospital expecting it to take that long.

::I was traveling in Kyushu, Japan in Mar 2023 with my families. My son who is 17 month-old crashed to the surface of bathtub in hotel bathroom as it was very slippery when we were in Nagasaki . He lost 1.5 of this upper front teeth. We asked help from the hotel front desk and it spent 30 minutes to contact for a local hospital with emergency service at night, unfortunately the hospital rejected to provide service as it asserts that they don't have dental service that we felt desperate at that time being. Then we spent the whole night to search for dental clinic and hospital on Google. At the end we figured out a list of clinic in Kumamoto which can accept immediate booking with surgery operation facilities. I am not aware of Japanese and it is lucky that my sister has intermediate level of Japanese speaking competency, she helped to call for each clinic on the list I found. In which all rejected to accept my son as their patience by the reason that my son is small at 17 month-old even if they claim to provide pediatric dentistry in their advertisement. Finally one of the clinic he referred us to approach "Itoh Dento-Maxilofacial Hospital". And "Itoh Dento-Maxilofacial Hospital" accepted our reservation request than we drove from Nagasaki to Kumamoto. The lobby was full of patients when we arrived. we waited around 30 minutes upon our registration. Firstly it took around 30 minutes to have preliminary diagnostics and interviewed with us; Secondly we were escorted to take X-ray on the 2nd floor; 45 minutes later we were sent to the operation room in 3rd floor, one surgeon took inspection again and summoned up a consolidated consultation with the pediatric dental doctor. Consequently conclusion drawn is to retain the root of the broken tooth by adopting vital pulp therapy with fillings. The whole process took less than 3 hours from registration to checking out at cashier. We are so grateful to the assistance and service that every colleague in "Itoh Dento-Maxilofacial Hospital 伊東歯科口腔病院" provided. Their effectiveness and professional are highly appreciated. Sorry that I just be aware of the primary practitioner names "竹部史朗" as I can only see his name on the illness certificate.
