Due to discrimination against foreigners, the treatment plan was not explained in detail, and even though I was infected with influenza and was hospitalized, the hospitalization treatment plan only listed ``disease name: bronchitis.'' It was so random that I felt it was unpleasant. Afterwards, when I pointed out deficiencies and insufficient explanations in the inpatient treatment plan, I did not apologize in the slightest, just gave an appropriate explanation, added ``disease name: influenza'' to the treatment plan, and gave an explanation. When the patient's family asks, ``Do you understand? ” is my favorite phrase. Is it okay to behave and be treated like that just because you're a foreigner? Even though I work diligently and pay Japanese national taxes properly without paying a single yen in arrears, it hurts my heart to be treated like this when my child is sick. - [ ] I will never choose this hospital again~

::Doctors are elegant and intelligent (some of them are), nurses are empathetic and kind (some of them are). Thanks to you, I survived! thank you. However, the condition of the hospital is dilapidated, narrow, maze-like, dark, and dirty. The steep stairs are dangerous, and the hallways are short and winding, making it hard to see what's ahead. Building A in particular is so dangerous that you can see it even on Street View. The arrangement of things is chaotic, personal information is left unattended, and the general ward is always noisy with alarms and the old man's screams (though nurse calls are responded to in seconds in the intensive care unit). Nurses have a slightly larger scope of responsibility, and information sharing among staff members is insufficient. This may not seem like a big deal in Itabashi Ward, which has the largest number of hospital beds in Japan, but with 570 beds, it is quite a large hospital. A large number of modern systems and equipment have been installed. [The following is my experience, very detailed] 2023/12/21 around 17:30 in the evening I called an ambulance and was taken to this hospital due to high fever and nausea. Waited 3-4 hours and tested negative for norovirus. I was prescribed anti-nausea and antipyretics, and the bill was 7,000 yen. A bench in the hallway from start to finish. I gave up on going home and ran to a nearby hotel. I spend a painful night in the bathroom of my hotel room. I was the Merlion. 12/22 early morning around 3:00 Just 6 hours after leaving the emergency room. I threw up until I was empty, so I crawled out of the hotel and went back to the hospital. Immediately, he received a urinary catheter and intravenous drip, and was transferred to the intensive care unit. The diagnosis was diabetic ketoacidosis. I have diabetes, and I explained everything the day before, but why was I sent home after paying the bill once? ? 12/24 I am feeling much better with the intravenous antipyretic medication. 12/25 Feeling refreshed. Moved to general hospital bed. 12/26 Discharged from hospital.

::My experience here was very good. I was impressed by the diligence and efficiency of the polite medical staff, not to mention the main doctors and nurses in charge of my 12-day stay for surgery and rehabilitation. I was especially grateful for the kind attention and patience they showed with my poor Japanese skills. Nothing is perfect, and any hospital can be like a circus, but this one deserves a good rating. Perhaps the only issue is that the building is rather old and grim, but the humanity within makes up for that.

::After the poor taping on my wounded head, on my way exiting the emergency room, the nurse kept pushing me with her fingers trying to hurry me.. I asked her from when I can wash my hair. She apparently did not know the answer and spoke vaguely. I felt all her focus was on sending me out ASAP. That was a legitimate question to avoid the infection to the wound and I deserved the clear answer. I can't believe they charge 7300yen for this.
