::Don’t book! So many better choices in Tokyo. As somebody that spends 100+ nights in hotels this is the worst managed hotel I have experienced. 1) booked 6 rooms at the same time and they ended up canceling one of the rooms. Confirmation number in hand, confirmed and they just decided to cancel it. No explanation and no fix yet after two days. 2) confirmed that all charges for Rooms and incidentals to be charged to my room. Yet they even screwed that up and it has taken 2 hours. 2 hours ! For them to simply fix this and switch the payments to my credit card. Two hours for some thing that should take 2 minutes. Don’t put yourself at risk. Don’t book a stay here.

::I stayed here for about two and a half weeks. This place is amazing. Fantastic location that is close to every public transportation. It is close to many amenities including restaurants and convenience stores. The hotel has many dining establishments as well. Many of those establishments are quite pricey l, but usually this hotel can have more affluent guests that can afford those places. The Chef's Live Kitchen is a great buffet option especially with the included breakfast option that came with our reservation. The staff speak great English here and are very helpful. Actually, I witness certain staff are actually multilingual so it is a very foreign friendly location. There is a great view of Tokyo Bay from this hotel and the windows are huge and so clean so you can appreciate that view. I did not make use of the gym, but I went to that floor to see what that is about and it appears to be a converted room for gym purposes so it may disappoint those of you looking for that, but for my needs I did not require that since Tokyo has so many stairs to climb that I did not need it. The rooms are big for Tokyo standards. The bathrooms are nice. Everything is clean and well-maintained. It is a smoke-free establishment which is what I was looking for. Those of you looking for a swimming pool will be disappointed, but I did not need one because I wanted to spend most of my time exploring Tokyo. If anything, the bathroom has a nice tub that you can use to relax in. You are also within walking distance from Tokyo Tower. The third floor has quick access to a train line (Yurikamome) that can go to places like Ginza or Daiba and both of those places have fantastic shipping options (Ginza shopping locations like Uniqlo flagship store or Daiba's Diver City Mall). I miss this place everyday since I left Japan and it became like a home away from home. Ah, I almost forgot to mention about the Nagomi lounge for those of you that availed that option. Fantastic option for Japanese dining and they give a sample of what to expect from Japanese cuisine. Very delicious and filling. Just make sure you stay while eating. It came in 3 rounds so don't make the mistake of almost leaving after round one like me since I am not familiar with that style of dining. They also had a lot of beverage options that you can get at will by the bar especially alcohol, but since I don't really drink I did not get a chance to drink their sake.

::Fantastic hotel, rooms are clean well kept, staff are courteous and helpful. The views are fantastic and the Teppanyaki was a real experience with a great skilled and fun chef. Location for us was perfect, slightly quieter area but very quick to get to the heart via the local stations.

::We stopped by for a Teppanyaki dinner (separate review), which was excellent. This review refers to the lobby bar closest to the entrance of the hotel, for which we couldn’t find a name in google maps. The experience with all waiting staff members in the lobby areas was excellent, as with the atmosphere in the lobby area, but the bartender in said bar was terrible. Rude and unattentive (also to the waiting staff, we could notice) and making average drinks not even filling the glass. Never had a Negroni that didn’t reach the top of the glass in any bar. The bar features a sakura special, but when we asked about it, the bartender simply said “sold out”. He didn’t make any effort to mention that when he presented us with the menus. For a hotel of this status, we found it incomprehensible to have such a mediocre bartender. Everything else in the InterConti was top notch.

::Fabulous stay in a very interesting and tucked away spot. The service there is really good and their level of English is great. I was a bit disappointed when I saw the gym. It was a converted room that almost had all the essentials. They do have a fancy fridge for the water but other than that it was hard getting a proper gym session in. Didn’t take that many pictures as I was very tired but the bed was so good and the views were even better. Highly recommend staying there if you want to try your hands at a five star hotel.
