::Very small outlet so get ready to know what you want before entering if possible. From experience they seemed to replenish stocks from different suppliers so what you may find one day is not what you will find another day. Friendly staff who can give recommendations, good drinks for takeaway, tax-free refunds were hassle free. PS it is easier to get here by finding Keio Dept Store and going into the underground one level below it.

::The prices here are very reasonable. I have not seen matcha priced like this outside of Kyoto so I was pleasantly surprised. They serve food and well as have a little store where they sell different teas. The lady at the food counter seemed nice as she would go from behind the counter to check with foreign customers to make sure she got their order right. Other notes: they only take cash AND if you are looking for Marukyu Koyamaen Matcha (丸久小山園抹茶) the popular brand from Kyoto that has been popular on social media lately, they do not have it here. This place does show up if you look for it but as far as I am aware that brand has limited production and only is sold in Kyoto.

::It was like a maze finding this store but once you do, it’s worth it. The lovely old couple that owns the shop is so friendly and very willing to help you. Really appreciated them!! Matcha that they have was amazing. Next time I come to Japan, I will definitely visiting them again.

::Bought some Matcha and Hojicha from this store, although some major brands were out, the owners were still very helpful on giving suggestions. They accept card and can do tax-free, so thats a big plus! Some suggestions on getting to this place as I saw people getting lost and there were some constructions: - its near lotteria and beard papa - from the main west exit, you go to the left and then straight. Once you see taxis, you go to the left and go straight. After you pass some stairs, you go to the left again and then its right at the end

::Really spent so much time looking for this store Ikeda-ya TeaStore that sells good matcha powder (green tea) and products. Very reasonably priced based on recommendations from friends. The staff that helps us was very friendly and helpful, advising us what type of powder and the quality of it. He is not pushy at all. And you can claim tax free once you go past the std minimal spend for tax free (5000 yen).
