::If you need cash, best to use the international ATM at the post office or convenience store. If you want to buy souvenirs, you can buy them using credit card at the Honmura lounge down the street. With no other customers present, I waited 15 minutes for the teller to fill out the necessary paperwork and received a 6.3% markup exchanging USD to JPY. The teller was impeccably professional and polite, but the institution’s policies could be improved.
