::There are only a few lifts in operation, but no matter when you go, there aren't many people, and you can enjoy the powder snow almost privately. The single lift, which is rare these days, is also interesting. The hotel's warm hospitality will soothe your soul.

::Check in, relax in your room, have dinner around 7pm, and move to the venue. I'll get it right away. ・Dinner Contents include terrine and pork, mugwort soba and tempura platter, and 6 small dishes. The pork is tender, the mugwort soba goes down easily, and the tempura is delicious with wild vegetables. The local Noppei soup is made with a good dashi and is extremely delicious when added to mugwort soba! The 6 small dishes included pickled bracken, bamboo shoots, etc. It was a good small bowl to rest your chopsticks on. As we proceeded to eat, the main Saga beef steak was served and was tender and delicious! The dessert after the meal was an Earl Gray roll cake, which had just the right amount of sweetness and was delicious. We had unlimited alcohol, so we enjoyed beer, wine, sake, and more! ・Breakfast meal It's packed with salt-grilled salmon, fried Tochio fish, simmered dishes, raw eggs, pickles, and more. The main course, the salt-grilled salmon, is a thick fillet with plenty of fat, making it soft and delicious! Niigata's specialty, Tochio-age, is crispy and aromatic, and this one is also delicious. I had rice with salt-grilled salmon and fried Tochio, etc., and from the second bowl onwards, I had raw eggs, etc.! Thank you for the meal. Dinner was filled with mugwort soba, local Noppei soup, and Saga beef! Breakfast was also delicious and satisfying with local dishes and thick salt-grilled salmon. Since the hotel is located on the top of the mountain, it was a great view to enjoy the stars and night view of the clear night sky!

::I stayed here while visiting a nearby ski resort. The hotel itself was located in front of a closed ski resort. The building itself is not new, but the room was clean and spacious as if it had been renovated. The food is very delicious and the portions are so large that you'll be full. I was happy that the drinks were all-you-can-drink from what was in the fridge. It seemed like it was run by a family, so it had a nice family feel. The location is on top of a mountain, so you can't go there by car in the winter. An amazing vehicle will pick you up at the parking lot below. It was a fun trip.

::I used it for a ski stay. This hotel is located in a minor (rude) ski resort called Mt Grandview near Shiozawa Ishiuchi IC. This year (2024) seems to be a year with very little snowfall, so there are many ski resorts that will not be open, and this was one of them, so I went skiing by car and used other ski resorts. In years when there is a lot of snow, the hotel is located inside a ski resort, so you park your car in the parking lot at the base and take a snowmobile or lift to the hotel, but this year there was no snow and we were able to drive straight up to the hotel. When there's snow, you'll have to go uphill on a fairly steep slope, so I don't think it would be possible without a 4WD vehicle. It seems like a hotel run by a family, and when I first visited, I thought I had made a mistake as there was not much information on arrival, but as other reviews have said, the landlady was very nice, and the hotel was a bit old. Although there were some spider webs, we had a great time and it was very reasonably priced. Since I hadn't finished preparing the room, I was told that I could get the missing amenities from the closet in the hallway. (Toothbrushes, yukatas, towels, bath towels, sheets, pillowcases, tissues, etc. can be found here.) There are many patterns for yukatas (there are also yukata from regular hot spring hotels), so we were told to feel free to choose one. (If you ask, they will tell you. If you don't ask, you might think they don't have it... If it's not in the closet, they'll take it out.) Dinner was very plentiful and delicious. (When we stayed there, our menu had a lot of Japanese steak and tuna paste. Other tables also had sukiyaki with lots of meat.) Also, although I hadn't heard that it was an all-you-can-drink option, they also had alcoholic drinks. Even though we were told to take whatever we wanted from the fridge, the hostess brought recommended wines to the table and we were very satisfied. (Not everything in the refrigerator is OK. Please ask the landlady.) There are also plenty of tea, coffee, and black tea. (Basically it's selfie) Breakfast is also a common menu item, but the portions are large. (The salmon fillet is about the size of a salmon steak.) Eggs are also said to be delicious. The ski resort in front of the hotel was closed, but the drying room was open, so I was able to dry my boots, which I was grateful for. The bath is large enough to accommodate about 10 people at the same time. Men's razors are available in the changing room. There is also a sauna in the bathroom, but I couldn't use it. When I checked out, I was told that I was sorry that I couldn't get a discount because I applied through a travel agency, and even received a souvenir of candy, which made me very satisfied. The view from the restaurant is also very good. (At night, the night skiing at Maiko Kogen Ski Resort was right in front of us, and it was beautiful.) I still want to use it.

::I stayed here for one night on a snowboarding trip. Above all, the hostess' service was so warm that you could almost believe it was her parents' home. There was no formal check-in or anything like that, and I was touched by the fact that I was immediately asked, "Mr. ○○, why don't you put your luggage down and have some coffee first?" My heart was at rest. It was comfortable. The food was so delicious that it brought tears to my eyes, and although I was being very presumptuous, they laughed at all my selfishness and accepted it, and I was completely satisfied. We definitely recommend this inn to those who can tolerate a homely stay that you can't get at a formal, star-rated hotel. Next time I will definitely bring her with me.
