::Best hotel I have stayed at close to Dogo onsen (2 min walk). Big clean rooms, nice hotel onsen, but a little expensive. Will definitely try to stay here next time I visit.

::Lovely hotel with touch of history and traditional culture around the town. Good location with a short walk to the Dogo Onsen and shops and restaurants. Great atmosphere inside with traditional artifacts and modern convenience. Old building but mostly renovated and very well maintained. Friendly staff with pure Japanese hospitality. Buffet dinner and breakfast were exceptionally delicious and exceeded our expectation. Wonderful service for family with kids. [Pros] - Location near to the Dogo Onsen and shops and restaurants - Clean and spacious room, totally renovated to full modern convenience but kept the traditional arrangement - Delicious foods - Friendly to family with kids [Cons] - Caters many tourist groups (loud noise and long lines) - Door lock is not automatic (s drunk guest opened our room door by mistake at night!) - Staff are much more friendly to Japanese speaking guests (probably due to language barriers)
