  This is a beautiful, low key Ryokan. It's a little dated and showing it's age in some ways but friendly service and beautiful views. The onsen are lovely and well maintained and the kaiseki are delicious.

  This is a very nice hotel. We really enjoyed how nice and caring the staff was despite the fact that our family couldn’t speak English ! From front desk to breakfast room - we were impressed by the staff and they did they best for us and young children to always feel welcome. We would like to specifically thank the gentleman who was driving the shuttle bus (Kubo-San I believe , but I’m not 100% sure :-)) - who was extraordinary nice and welcoming to us. Congratulations and massive thank you to the staff for such a level of customer service.

  Nice hotel, bit old. The staff goes above and beyond to help you with anything and everything. Our room had an amazing view.

  Our stay at this lovely family suited hotel was great. The Japanese style room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The amenities were in excellent condition. The breakfast was with plenty of choice and well made. The staff was helpful. The location is worth the extra buck, since it is 10 minutes walk from both the train station and downtown docks and shops.

  got a room full of stale smoke even though we asked for a non-smoking room.
