The Chopsticks
::Location is great you can practically walk to all the food place.. marunouchi line is just 2min walk.. 7-11, family mart, mcd ,a small coffee shop, st marc cafe, yoshinoya and other small restaurant are all nearby within walking distance. The location is perfect but the room is tiny. So there’s a trade off in one way another.. hotel is clean and had a good night sleep. We stay for 4 nights.

::Convenient location, but not very clean. Really dusty. All dust around the edges of all the carpets of all the hallways and the room, dusty and blocked inlet filter for air conditioning in the room, plus outlet had small amount of mould, exhaust vent for bathroom didn't work and had a musty smell when we checked in. I had to get the vacuum cleaner from housekeeping to clean around the edges of the room myself. Management should do a better job on making sure housekeeping are doing their job.

::Helpful staff, renovated rooms, location just steps away from Nishishinjuku station. In a quieter business district but walking distance to popular Shinjuku areas. Convenient restaurant next door with breakfast buffet (both Western and Japanese foods). Great value and would 100% stay again.

::Pros: location 5/10 min on foot/subway to Shinjuku station, ideal for shopping and not so noisy. The price is relatively smaller than other hotels in the region. Nice staff. Cons: definitely needs some renovation, a bit of a strange smell in the hall, but I think it also justifies the price. Hint: the beds have high "clearance", so you can put luggage under it and have more space.

::Hotel was ok. Rooms very small and bathroom had an awkward layout with a very low shower. Twin rooms should be laid out differently with a table in the middle to make the rooms feel a bit bigger. However, in a great location and incredibly close to the metro. Would stay again as affordable price and clean rooms on top of the good location.
