::The hotel is very close to the Dogo Onsen Main Building, with its two newer annexes just a few steps further. All three can be reached on foot within 5 minutes. The breakfast was a set meal that included a variety of food. The staff were great, the room was clean, and the price-to-value ratio was high. I recommend staying here when exploring the Dogo area. I left my camera in the hotel after checkout and contacted the staff, who were incredibly helpful. They arranged to send it to my current hotel in Fukuoka, and I received it before my departure. I really appreciated their assistance.

::The location is awesome, right next to Dogo onsen. However, the rest of the stay wasn't so great. We couldn't get a space in the hot spring. There were stains on the sheets. The room was pretty cold and the temperature was difficult to set on the heating system. The room just wasn't very comfortable. The view from the room was ok.

::Tiny room considering the location but clean and neat. Walking distance to sightseeing district and hot springs. Eay accessible by rail from JR station.

::Both me and my friend weren't aware that Natsume Soseki, the famous Japanese author, was a guest here. For a place with historical background, they charge a very reasonable fee! Our room was clean and spacious enough, and we had comfy beds and pillows. The place is just next to Dogo Onsen, so it's perfect for people who are after the onsen experience. The staff went above and beyond in giving us directions for our trip to the nearby Toon City. They kindly took care of our taxi booking. I appreciate the hospitality!

::Great rooms with a nice view (8th floor). The staff was nice and helpful. They helped us with checking if we needed a reservation for the boat from Yawatahama to Beppu. We tried all the baths associated with the hotel. One being just outside the front door of the hotel, and the two others being a 2 minute walk from the hotel.
