One of the worst hotels we have ever stayed at! The walk to the room up and down stairs was long and painful and we had to repeat it for meals and bath. The wall paper in the halls were cracked and peeling everywhere. The curtains and lamp shades in the room were covered with nicotine stains from years ago and the room smelled like smoke, mold, and body odor. The room with the bath tub was from the twilight zone and I doubt anyone would try to use it or the shower. The breakfast and dinner buffets were ok. The photographs used for the website are great and we were fooled into booking this property.

Felt like a giant 1970s motel on the waterfront, food was just average, cheap frozen foods dished up as fresh food. Definitely not a resort( maybe a resort 70s style), there are many other places better for the price. The views are amazing looking from the balcony from the 70s, it was like going back in time

we're here for a night in the japs style room which dinner and breakfast included too. the place was great, the room was spacious with a great sea view and the great cross-harbour bridge outside. however it didn't serve in-room meals. two different restaurants served dinner and breakfast. the dinner was in japs style, sashimi, sake, hot food were all lovely. there's hot spring facility and everything was great. the little shop at the lobby was surprising too! they got ready-to-eat pufferfish pack to buy, also Dassai pound cake! i haven't seen the Dassai pound cake anywhere else! i'd recommend this hotel!

Greeted by wonderful flowers, but waaaaay too expensive for an old Showa period hotel. The western rooms were a surprisingly long walk from the entrance and the view of a bridge with some weird hotel structure in front of our window was less than pleasing. Room was lackluster and food was decent. But, much too expensive overall.

Great resort hotel with fantastic views & facilities. Arrived at night so did not appreciate the amazing view which greeted us in the morning. Floor to ceiling windows allow plenty of natural light & views over the island. Hot spring views equally as good, especially in the morning. Great staff, restaurants & facilities. Only stayed one night, want to come back for longer.
