::This hotel has three things going for them. First, they are in an outstanding location. They are across the street from high end shops like Gucci and LV. They are also very close to the bustling Dontonbori and Shinsaibashi shopping center. Second, the staffs are excellent. Great service and extremely nice. Lastly, it has direct access to the The Midosuji Line, which connects directly to Shin Osaka Station for those who takes the Shinkansen Bullet Rail. The hotel itself is not great. The rooms need some serious Rennovation. It’s 2024 and the TV doesn’t support current technology. The room lacks easy access to electrical plugs and USB plugs. The bathroom, other than having excellent water pressure for the shower, it needs to be updated. The tub is very high, not safe for elders to get in and out. The toilet has an add on bidet, not a bidet toilet. The room furniture needs some update and refresh painting. The hallway to the rooms are scratched along the walls.

::Very good hotel located near to the bustling streets of Dotonbori area. Several shopping and dining options in and around. Great for kids. Excellent service, Helpful staff. Only negative is that Breakfast buffet has very limited veg options which was not the case with our hotels in Tokyo and Kyoto.

::Hotel Nikko Osaka offers a great overall experience. Situated in a fantastic location with wonderful views, the hotel boasts friendly and helpful staff. However, the room and bathroom were on the smaller side, and you can't control your room's AC unless you are on the top three floors, which could be an issue for those sensitive to heat. Nevertheless, the staff provided a fan upon request, which alleviated the discomfort. Despite these drawbacks, knowing what to expect, I would still choose to book again. However these points are worth considering when making reservations.

::This is a relatively older hotel in the center of Osaka. The rooms are separated into regular and the top 3 floors as premium rooms. We were fortunate enough to stayed on both of these floors and the premium rooms are larger and is higher then the buildings across the road so one can see the whole Osaka city. One of the challenges of this hotel is the lack of modern day amenities such as gym, pool, premium lounge, etc. Overall, if one stays in Osaka for a couple of days, this hotel will do the job as its location for shopping and restaurants are centrally located.

::My husband and I stayed in japan for a few weeks and used hotel tonight to get a great deal on our stay for our first 2 nights in Osaka. Absolutely worth it! The staff is so helpful, they have an all you can eat breakfast (the first time we saw a fork, knife and spoon) close to everything, right above a major train station and near all the shopping. Our room was beautiful and comfy. It's pricey, but if you can get a good deal do it!
