  Nice hotel, offers many nice things. Although, I've stayed in better hotels. It is good to know that this hotel is pretty old as style.

  Great hospitality. Got lunch at Japanese style restaurant and it was great! The food was good, the service was great and the price was very reasonable.

  Overall hotel is quite good. Staff behaviour and cleanliness is too good. If you are vegetarian then pls carry your ready to eat food as you won't get vegetarian food (except fruits/juice/milk).

  Very prime location near the train and bus station. access to every thing. very helpful staff. roms may by a bit small for overseas travveller but resonable for japanese hotels. excellent internet connection in some floors ( 8th was very bad, 5th is bullet speed). will come again.

  A great option in Nagaoka. If traveling alone and booking a twin room, you can probably use one bed for your bags and stuff. If booking a single room, you will have to be creative to fit in. But still, no surprise for hotels in Japan. Overall, hotel is good, veeery clean. Service is excellent. Breakfast offers 3 choices of eggs, 2 choices of bacon, breads, salads, yogurt, fruits and also asian style choices. There is no fitness center, but the hotel is by the channel, which is an excellent running or walking path. New Otani Nagaoka, is the best option in the region.
