::This was my second time staying at Hotel Monterrey Hanzomon. The rooms have adequate space and are priced appropriately. Staff was friendly and helpful when we had questions. Location is convenient to the metro station and in a quiet area. The bathroom and room were clean; the free smartphone was very helpful. My only complaint is that the room I stayed in was in need of new wall paint and furniture. There were many marks on the wall and cabinets, and a lot of visible dust under the television cabinet. Overall a pleasant stay.

::Hotel is conveniently located to the subway and a 15 min walk to the nearest JR station. The standard of the rooms do not match the rates unfortunately. The feel very grubby, you can see how dirty the walls are. Not a nice room to relax in. The staff are very nice when we brought the condition of our room to their attention they offered us another room but it was just the same. Management/owners should really consider a refurbishment or a lick of fresh paint at the least.
