::Poor hotel. The staff was rude. I was asking for a car parking but the staff asked me to park over 1km away with a high rate. They said nearby parking was not available but I managed to find at least one that cost less and more closer to the hotel. We requested for a non-smoking room but at the end it has strong smoking smell. Also, the floor of the toilet was leaking water.

::Totally fine business hotel located close to the Sunday market. Staff were helpful and friendly and the room (standard Japanese room) was quite large for a business hotel. There is a onsen/bath with a sauna on the second floor. Outside there is a free massage bed which is great. There were also lots of washing and drying machines downstairs, which was great but not all of them worked properly. The room itself was fine and the futon were comfy but the genkan is tiny so it is hard to open and close the door with the shoes there. The bath water was ridiculously slow, when we called the front desk we were told it would take about 20 minutes to fill...what makes it funnier is that it was a jacuzzi bath. Can't use the jacuzzi if the bath isn't full...like having wings on a car (笑) The breakfast was really filling and the service was good. Would stay here again if in Kochi.

::The staff were very friendly to me. I enjoyed my stay. The rooms are a normal size for Japan. I stayed in a tatami room and it felt very spacious. Note that there is no elevator from the street to the lobby. If you have accessibility issues you won’t be able to stay here.

::The Room is good by Japanese standards. If you're a foreigner who never stayed in a Japanese hotel, you might think this is small but it's pretty standard here. APA Hotel rooms are MUCH smaller. The room was clean and the AC was working very well which is absolutely necessary during the Japanese summer especially down here in Kōchi. Please note that if you have 0 knowledge of Japanese, you might have some hard time as the staff English is really basic but their Basic English+my Basic Japanese made a big difference: all went well! The location of the hotel is quite good: 5minutes walk from the station, 15min walk from all the restaurants. Overall, I liked my stay here and I would definitely come back, especially considering the cheap price.
