::This hotel was choosen for it's proximity to Tokyo station. Literally above the train tracks. My son is in love with trains, so the view overlooking the railway was a bonus. We booked the King corner room, the room with the view of the city. It was such a blessing sleeping with Tokyo night sky as the back drop. waking up to the sunrise was also a treat. The room was furnished stylishly, and the bed was so comfy. They also provided us with a free to use handphone which proved to be handy during our days exploring the complicated railway system. One thing which could have been better is if there is a porter service. We arrived to check in with 2 large luggages and a baby stroller in tow and didn't get as much as an offer to help us with our luggage. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely choose Hotel Metropolitan again if we come back to Tokyo.

::Room is nice, if a little small. Breakfast is not fantastic, I would advise skipping that any going to one of the nearby Starbucks

::Nice hotel. A little hard to find unless you know it's on the upper floors of an office building. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are lots of places to eat close by and the train station is right next door. Easy in and easy out. Just stayed one night on a stopover to Nikko. The imperial palace is close and parks galore are a short distance away. Walkable but the transit system is probably easier. The rooms were on the smaller side and pricey but you pay for the luxury and convienence. It's comparable to other hotels in the area.

::Amazing view, beautiful room, excellent service, unusually thorough stock of toiletry amenities. Best hotel I've stayed in.

::Very nice hotel. Rooms are small vs. American standard however given its Tokyo very reasonable in size. Cost given it is basically attached to Tokyo station is also reasonable. Service is exceptional, but it is Japan so that is the norm.
