  When I decided to go to Kakunodate by Shinkansen, There are no hotels in Kakunodate that suit my pocket, I found it near Omagari Station. I made a reservation online about two weeks in advance. But I stayed for two nights starting June 30th. Upon further investigation, This hotel seems to be able to receive nationwide travel support only by phone reservations. In other words, online reservations are no good. Well, there are hotels like this these days. The other day, when I stayed for two nights in Yudanaka, Nagano, Even though I didn't say anything, the hotel front desk automatically responded. I received two tickets, one for weekdays and one for holidays. Is this hotel okay? I don't know if it's because of the local characteristics of Akita, I think this is a very poor response. I don't think I'll come again, If you have a chance, Another prefecture would be nice. Aomori, Iwate, and Yamagata might be good options. Also, even though I have valuables such as a PC, The door to the room remained open even after cleaning. I had some valuables with me, so I locked the door and went out. I trusted the hotel and left my keys with them. Wow, I can't believe there is a hotel that offers this kind of accommodation. Moreover, there are no surveillance cameras in the hallways or elevators. The room is also small. Especially the bath and bathtub are too small. Although it is understandable that it is old, Although there is no public bath, It is fatal that the bathtub is narrow and small. It's also difficult to take a shower. Well, I'm convinced that the frustration is the real thrill of traveling. I don't think I will stay here again.

  I had stayed in this hotel for the weekends. It has a good location and free parking lots. The hotel is old and has a traditional Japanese room style (sleeping on a futon). The room was clean.
