::This hotel was superb from start to finish: excellent restaurants, sublime service, and a beautiful park setting. I stayed here for 10 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The building and grounds are all very beautiful. It was so pleasant to walk the halls and the gardens. The timed release of fog into the gardens is very impressive whether you view it from the hotel or you are in the garden when it happens - great for photos. I have to add that the staff were excellent. There were also lots of staff available too. There were never any long waits for tables, and I was able to talk to front desk staff or the concierge whenever I needed something. There were always taxis available.

::Incredible and beautiful hotel. Deserves all 5 stars. But beware, it's annoyingly far from any useful metro line. The only way around that is with a bus (stops right outside the door), but that only runs 7am-10pm. So expect to walk about 15 mins to any of the close metros to get anywhere in the city. Otherwise, the hotel is immaculate and views are great.

::My first trip to Japan and I was so glad I was able to recuperate from the travel at such a wonderful hotel. Our stay here was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. The location was quiet and was so nice to come back to after going to more touristy neighborhoods. Hotel Chinzanso was one of, if not the highlight of my vacation. The garden is beautiful and the staff and service was perfect. Top notch. Almost want to go back to Tokyo just to stay there!

::This place is over the top fabulous! I am a fussy Karen and everything is perfect. They all try super hard here for everything. Things were very clean and they helped with getting us a car rental and making sure our taxis knew where to take us. The breakfast was excellent and better tasting than France! They did our laundry daily. The grounds are immaculate. Here is what you can do to fix your operation: Make sure you have enough roll away beds. We said three were coming and had to cram into one bed the first night. Offer to call a mobile masseuse. Your massage was sold out for several days. Fix the pool tile. It looks moldy and rotten. The womens hot spring was slightly too hot. I burned my legs. Get new mattresses. Your mattress is lousy. The price was amazing for a Great Gatsby type experience. The extra cab rides were worth it to stay here on the edge of town. We would come back anytime. View from 1108.

::Amazing establishment with even better service. The garden was beautiful especially lit up at night and with the mist. The staff were incredibly accommodating with my dietary needs at the restaurant, and took it really seriously which was very appreciated. Definitely a high end price range, but it was a wonderful way to end our trip. **We used travel points to cover the cost, Iād recommend looking into that avenue**
