::Eclectic almost bizarre hotel, with its unique facade and concrete entrance walkway, and art gallery x prison type interior hallways. Spacious rooms, decent onsen and sauna. Huge portions for dinner, but food just ok.

::The hot water here is thick, which is the type I like. Your skin will become smooth! The hot spring water that does not heat up is also the best after getting out of the sauna. It may not be enough for those who like cold baths, but it is recommended for those who can't take a cold bath because it's too cold. The reason I deducted one star is that you can't go back and forth between the hot spring and the attached restaurant. I can't take a drink after taking a bath, take a breather, and then take a bath again. I would be happy if it had a style like "Mitsuishi Onsen" in the same series. Perhaps because there is a discount for Makubetsu townspeople, you can see many locals after work in the evening. The sauna will be crowded at that time, so be careful after work!

::Good onsen with nice volcanic water and outdoor baths. Hotel is very comfortable and well designed in an interesting concrete architectural style. Restaurant has excellent dinner and breakfast. Short walk to the water park, nauman museum, and hike to the hill overlooking Churui. One of our favorite onsens in Tokachi.
