The price is reasonable and the service is good. Best of all, there is a children's center attached, so you can have a lot of fun as is. There were many old-fashioned things to play with, so even adults enjoyed it.

The restrooms and other facilities were clean and it was easy for children to play. They also put books and toys at the break area, so it was easy to spend time there.

First of all, it's a good place, and the inside of the building is clean. The rooms, toilets, and baths are well-maintained. There was a place for children to play and the children were happy. The bad thing is, there's no cell phone signal and no Wi-Fi, so I can only watch TV. I expected it to be something kids could play in, but there were just old-fashioned toys, a small slide, and a ball pool. Training room (2 table tennis tables) Training room? ? There were no smoking areas, and the science museum and children's museum were closed. I went in expecting too much, so I felt disappointed. There is no sense of hospitality, especially since it is municipally run, and even if you ask for something, you have to come to the front desk to pick it up. The elevator stops at the second floor. There are no repeats.

Accommodation available during summer vacation. I used the barrier-free room. The structure of the building is also wheelchair accessible. There is a large public bath, but the disabled room also had a bath in the room. It will get soaked if you're not careful, but it was fairly easy to use and drained well. It's new so it's very clean. Guests could use the children's room, book space, and table tennis until 9pm. The food was also delicious.

An hour + ride from central Kobe, Hoshinoko is a good way to spend the weekend with your family.    Don’t expect an exciting attraction around the site, but this gives you the option of exploring the neighboring woods or simply staying in your tatami floored room for a slow moving weekend. We spend lot of our time in the library simply reading books or playing domino toppling. Staff are fully hospitable and welcoming, making your stay comfortable and cosy.   Good way to spend the weekend and to prepare for the following week!
