::It seems that many of the reviews here are harsh, but I've been to this hospital so many times that I wonder why. I have been taken care of at night and in emergencies, and each time the doctors and nurses have been very kind to me, and I feel that we have a strong presence as a core hospital for regional medical care. I have nothing but gratitude. I hope that we will continue to carry on the tradition of Hirosaki medical care that began as Eiho Hospital.

::This time, I was admitted to the orthopedic department on the 5th floor. I am very grateful to the attending physician, nurses, and rehabilitation staff, but I am giving my overall rating a 2 star because some of the nurses refused medical treatment based on their own judgment. ■1. Process until hospitalization [Bad points] Every time a hospital official asks me a question, I get asked the same question, which makes me sick. At first, I felt that this hospital lacked the basics of information sharing. ■2, hospital room [Good point] I think the hospital rooms are clean and have a sense of cleanliness. There are a lot of private rooms, and they are quite full. [Bad points] I was in a room with 4 people, but there were also people in need of care and patients with dementia, so it was a very scary hospital stay, with people banging on things, eating sweets every night, and having knives hidden. I wanted the rooms to be separated from the beginning. ■3.Nurses in general [Good point] I can see that the nurses and those who support them are really working with all their might. I'm impressed that even though their average age is young, they are studying very well and gaining experience as nurses. [Bad points] ❶ Among the nurses, there were nurses who were not even professional enough to ``refuse treatment'' to patients multiple times without any hesitation. (A female nurse named Yamatani) When I told the doctor's office what had happened and that I wanted to receive proper medical care since I was paying for the daily hospital expenses, only the managers came to apologize, but the person in question did not come to apologize. He was walking in front of me without any incident. I couldn't believe his nerves. The person in charge of management was my doctor and I felt sorry for him. Seeing that even when I pointed out the nurse's mistake, she was unable to say a single word, ``I'm sorry,'' I think this is a problem with the way her parents raised her, and this is reflected in her humanity. The nurse in question seemed to have gained weight due to stress, and her clothes were all loose. It was like a Michelin character. In the age of coronavirus, when it is said that there is a drastic decrease in jobs in the world, I wonder if I am grateful to be able to work as a nurse. At first I thought she was an assistant, but I checked with her boss, but she turned out to be a nurse who had passed the national exam. For a while, I was skeptical that all the nurses at this hospital had the same way of thinking. I will omit the details as it would be too long. ❷ She was on the same floor as a patient with dementia who needed nursing care, so she was shouting loudly day and night, but the nurses who were listening to her were laughing and saying, ``You came out so poorly,'' but no one could help her. I saw a scene where people were not willing to offer their help. To be honest, I also think that he is clearly a very annoying old man. I don't think this is a problem that can be solved simply by talking about ethics. However, the sight of a nurse laughing and turning a blind eye to an elderly man who could not move was chilling. I think the important point of this problem is that nurses are doing all the work that caregivers do and are working beyond their capacity, but they are not improving it. ■4. Your doctor [Good point] From the first examination, he was very thorough, and I knew he was someone I could trust and trust with my life. From a patient's perspective, I sincerely hope that there will be more doctors like this in Hirosaki City. ■5, Surgery [Good point] Since I was under general anesthesia, I didn't see it in person, but what was originally scheduled to be 3 hours ended up being extended to 4 hours as needed. Thank you for your professional spirit. ■6, Rehabilitation [Good point] He answered any questions I had in a sincere manner, and I had a lot of fun talking with him about various things. ■7, Meal By the way, my mother was a registered dietitian, so she was very strict about eating more than others, and I grew up with her favorite phrase, ``Think of the person making the food, be grateful, and eat everything.'' [Good point] It was helpful that special meals were prepared for people who could not eat regular meals. ■8, Radiology [Bad points] As a patient, I was horrified by the attitude of working as a side job. Even though the MRI scan requires imaging from the necessary angles, she was trying to take the images normally, so I stopped her and asked her to reconfirm the instructions. As expected, the engineer bowed his head and admitted his fault. I thought it was a shame that he honestly admitted his fault. [Just a thought] ❶ Isn't this hospital system treating nurses as expendable supplies? The nurses are so busy that their eyes are so sharp it's scary. ❷ Dementia patients who require care are taking up time, and general patients are being put on the back burner. Isn't there a gap between the fields of caregivers and nurses? I felt sorry for the nurse who couldn't do her job. It's not that we need to reduce personnel costs, but that we need reforms, and I wonder if we understand the difference. ❸How widespread is the awareness that medical care is also a vocational service industry? ❹What I feel strongly about is the lack of humane education for nurses. I felt that I lacked gratitude for being able to work.

::Attitude of hospital resident social worker, handover of department and administration? The situation was dire. I was instructed to meet with a social worker during my medical examination, so I thought I would meet with her. But when I listen to the phone conversations during arrangements, I can't understand what's being said and that's when I start to feel uncomfortable. When I finally get to meet a social worker, the first thing I say is “The other day, I explained it to him carefully (or do I say it myself?) and got his signature, but... there's still something I don't understand...? Do I need to explain it again?” and. What is this way of saying it? He speaks and acts like he can't believe there's something he doesn't understand. Because I was instructed to meet in the first place. I obeyed... “Since you instructed me to do so, I thought there was something new to check.” Even if I tell you I told him very politely Is there still a need for explanation? just repeating “I didn’t want to, so I came because I was instructed to do so!” If I say the same thing again I finally admitted my mistake, The way he apologized was also sloppy. Why do I have to be criticized so much from above even though I made a mistake in the handover? Even if I really want an explanation, I don't want to consult with them if I think they will treat me like that. The social worker at that time You probably have a lot of knowledge and are busy repeating the same explanations every day. Patients don't know what the insurance system is like. Do you think everyone can understand it in one go? I pray that this person will not be in charge of your family when they are hospitalized.

::I think it was difficult during construction and immediately after moving to the new hospital. Thank you to everyone at the general reception. Everyone in the pediatrics department, everyone in the obstetrics and gynecology department, everyone in the rehabilitation department, and everyone in the orthopedics department, thank you for your help many times. We look forward to your continued support as the core of local medical care.

::Two years ago, my child was seen in an emergency room at night and was hospitalized for one night. Even though I was just accompanying my child, I was charged hospitalization fees. There's nothing wrong with me, so I haven't received any treatment... Recommended for people who want to pay extra. I will never go again until I die. If this was the hospital I was in charge of at night, I would go to a different hospital the next morning. I think the patients who are still paying the initial consultation fee are even more stupid.
