Hotel reception is very friendly and helpful. Wanted to come here to experience the onsen. This is the more affordable Ryokan that we can find. A great room to share with our friends. Toilet is clean as well. Have tried using both public gender and private bath. Interesting experience. We visited in may and is not too crowded in the evening. Please note that the road to reach the accoms is really narrow, so do be careful when driving in and out of the accoms. Also, this area does not have many food option nearby when at night. So would recommend getting the room with dinner option if possible

Excellent. Beautiful old onsen ryokan, spacious rooms, spotless clean and very nice atmosphere. The entrance to the very narrow uphill street is a little bit hard to find but once there it's all worth it. Walking to the really very attractive center of town requires about 10 minutes..but do not miss it, it's simply beautiful.

Great Ryokan. A short (5 min) walk to the city center. The service was excellent. Staff spoke Chinese and some English. The meal was filling with a nice atmosphere. The onsen was outdoors in the woods. Very unique.

Google maps directed us to arrive from the rear of the hotel, through the forest; muddy and narrow roads. LOL. Our rented MPV did very well to negotiate the lovely Minamioguni countryside. Friendly and helpful staff, great service. All that you would expect form a Japanese Ryokan. The place seems to be quite new and very well kept. The Onsen was really nice. The dinner and breakfast were nice enough. However, for the price, one may have expected it to be a little bit more in terms of quality. Stayed in March 2018
