  I'm sorry, but the doctor at the hospital I work at never misses the root of a tooth when extracting a tooth! The hygienist who is with me is always checking next to me, so Uni's post from 2 months ago is completely bullshit! Tomoko, the hygienist I work with, guarantees this.

  My tooth was extracted without cleaning, and I was left with something left unextracted. I found this out at another dentist. No matter how many years have passed, I will never forget the pain I felt that night after my tooth was extracted.
