  Overall best supermarket in the prefecture for buying international ingredients. Get your Chinese, Korean, and Thai stuff here, as well as beans, tahini, pickles, tteok, baking stuff like chocolate chips, and more. The prices are good, for Japan. Only exceptions are cheeses, which you should go to Jupiter for, and large amounts of spices (including whole), which are better at A-Price.

  inexpensive food market. as a moeslem (islam) you can find halal food here. you can access by bus but I think a little difficult. best access is by bicycle. from tokushima station you can ride just about 10 minutes. If you came from outside you can rent a bicycle just 500 yen for a day. Rent place in the building front of station, I suggest you to ask the people there.
